In today's world, printers are something we can't do without. Most of the printers use ink cartridges. Ink cartridges are available in many colors as well as black. The ink cartridges are used in inkjet printer to print on paper. The tiny sized droplets of this ink are pushed through multiple holes made in the ink cartridges onto paper in a perfectly controlled manner to print desired images and letters.

The importance of printers is well-known. Whether it's at our homes or offices, printers are a must for all. But printers need ink cartridges. Because of these reasons, printers and ink cartridges play a significant role in our lives. Mostly for businesses, printers and printer ink cartridges have, it's one of the most essential part of their daily operations.


Whether you want to print an application form in an A4 size sheet or in printing cards and posters, every printing job requires printers and ink cartridges.

There are a lot of different brands of ink cartridges available in the market. Some of the well-known brands are HP, Epson, Dell, Canon, Xerox, BT, Compaq, Brother, and Lexmark. One ink cartridge is sufficient, on an average, to print 200 to 250 copies. The number of printable copies may vary with the user specifications such as quality of print and the color. Using a printer with an empty cartridge may damage your printer. It makes very important to change the cartridge is out of ink.

Mostly there are three kinds of ink cartridges available nowadays. The first is OEM or Original Equipment Manufacturer cartridge. Original Equipment Manufacturer cartridge is the best one as it comes with the printer. Because it's original it's the best suitable for your printer as well as it gives the best printing results.

Another type of ink cartridges is called compatible cartridges. These compatible cartridges are manufactured to meet the particular specifications of original equipment cartridges. Since these compatible cartridges are somewhat inferior to those of OEM cartridges, they are relatively less expensive than OEM cartridges. The printing result is good in quality.

The third kind of ink cartridges are the cartridges that are remanufactured. These ink cartridges are mostly made from recycled OEM cartridges. These are relatively cheap.

Apart from these ink cartridges, companies can save huge money in ink cartridges by getting them refilled. There are a lot of different refilling kits available nowadays, and it can be done very easily. A refilling kit contains compatible ink, an ink syringe or a squeeze bottle, and an instruction manual. Following these instruction tips, it's easy to refill the empty ink cartridges. But in some kinds of ink cartridges, refilling is not possible.

To reduce the operation expenses, it's better to use the best quality compatible ink cartridges. It'll help you in reducing the cost of ink cartages as well as you can avoid any damages to your printers.
