Chocolate Lovers Paradise Tours

Is Belgium truly paradise? It may very well be. While Belgium is a small country, only the size of the state of Maryland, it still finds room for 2,130 chocolate shops! The capital city, Brussels is known as the 'Chocolate Capital Of The World'. But even a confirmed chocophile needs other diversions. Belgium rivals France in gourmet cuisine, so you can count on a wonderful dinner before your dessert. If you love shopping, you'll find great bargains on chocolates, of course, but don't overlook handmade lace, leather goods, diamonds and crystal ware.

Chocolate City, U.S.A.

Where's that, you ask? Burlington, Wisconsin! It's home to Nestle, and also the annual Chocolate Fest, which is held the weekend following Mother's Day each year. Attractions include opening day fireworks, the Taste Of Chocolate tent, a carnival, exhibits, live music and other entertainers, and closes with a parade on the final day. The City of Burlington also welcomes visitors to enjoy other chocolate diversions around town.

10th Annual Chocolate Festival

The Oakdale Chocolate Festival happens each May in this little California town. It's sponsored by the Hershey's Chocolate and Confectionery Corporation, which operates a manufacturing plant in Oakdale, California. The festival is always held on the 3rd weekend in May. There's a lot to do, with music, entertainment, arts and crafts, a car show, tennis tournament, a fun run, and kid's activities. But the star of the show is "Chocolate Avenue". Here you'll find vendors tempting you with delicious cakes, cookies, ice cream, fudge, toffee, truffles, cheesecakes, chocolate shakes, and candies. There will be free samples to help break down your willpower
