Weddings go on all throughout the year, but coming up to spring and summer, the wedding season truly hits us. Weddings can prove to be costly events but luckily are usually only once in a lifetime, so it's worth making sure that everything looks beautiful, whether it is with wedding balloons, confetti, flowers or personalised wine labels.

Brides and Grooms will remember the wedding service at the church, registry office or civil ceremony venue as the most memorable part of the day, whilst your guests will generally remember the wedding reception.

However there is no need to go overboard with your expenses. A few well chosen items can give you that WOW factor you are after, and will be remembered by everyone for a very long time to come.

Balloons

Wedding balloons are very popular nowadays and you can create some amazing designs and sculptures with them. There are specialist balloon design companies that have a team of qualified balloon designers that will create a magnificent balloon sculpture as a centrepiece or an archway for the bride and groom to enter through. Balloons in colours to co-ordinate with your colour scheme will be used, they can also be printed on with a message or date. Whether it's a simple balloon collection or a dramatic and creative design, wedding balloons are sure to provide the impact you are after.

Confetti

Confetti can now come in all colours, shapes and sizes to co-ordinate with your wedding perfectly. Simple and effective, confetti can be scattered around your wedding venue, over tables, chairs, floors or down from the ceiling, as an impressive confetti shower. Why not have your wedding balloons filled with confetti to shower down over your guests when the balloons are popped?

Table decorations

Decorations for your table can be as plain or creative as you want. Let your imagination run wild if you so wish, the main things to remember is to co-ordinate, but at the same time stick to your budget. If you have a specific theme such as hearts or butterflies, use these to make an impressive display. Decorations can include scattered chocolates, wedding favours, centrepieces, tableware and name cards.

Flowers

Most wedding receptions will have a beautiful floral display. Some choose to have a central bunch of flowers, whilst others choose to go for simple baskets, posies or single stems in the centre of your table. Whatever you choose to go for will depend on your personal preferences.

Candles

Tealights and candles can create a classy and relaxing ambience for a party. Impressive candelabra's or small coloured tealights scattered throughout the room and on tables can give the perfect finishing touch to the room you are holding your wedding reception in. A particularly good idea is to use subtly fragrance candles, which will give off a lovely aroma throughout the proceedings.
